Reporters from the Surrey Comet went on strike today to raise awareness of the dangers of cuts to the papers which we believe will damage our ability to serve the communites of Kingston, Surbiton, New Malden, Chessington, Tolworth and surrounding areas.
We are asking people to support the paper in its role at the heart of the community by sending a message to owners Newsquest that it should continue to be a quality paper with enough reporters and pages to properly cover the stories that matter.
